10 Healthy Reasons to Use an Exercise Ball as Your Office Chair!
So our office has recently made the transition to sitting on Stability Balls in order to help with posture and provide beneficial exercise to the work day. When exploring the additional benefits, the following article was found that highlights even more benefits than originally thought. So our motto is that “Our agents are always on the Ball!”
Here are some of the benefits of using an exercise ball as your chair. Whether you spend your desk time at the office, or studying at home for that next exam, office ball chairs can help you in many ways.
- Forces proper spine alignment. Because an exercise ball is not stable, your body needs to try to balance itself on it. The perfect spinal posture is coincidently the easiest to balance with. Suggested sizes for adults that are 5 feet 6 inches, is the 65cm ball. Your legs should be almost parallel with the ground. If you are above 5ft 10 inches the suggestion is to go with a 75cm ball.
